This I wrote as I was and describing that very moment!
Being
Being!
Freeing!
Openly seeing!
Drawing!
Thawing!
Ever-moring!
Showing!
Growing!
Ebbing and flowing!
Wasting!
Hasting!
Sweetly tasting!
Telling!
Compelling!
Slowly smelling!
Clearing!
Cheering!
Acutely hearing!
Clutching!
None-suching!
Sensually touching!
Mingling!
Jingling!
Body tingling!
Forming!
Storming!
So heart-warming!
Appealing!
Healing!
Such a great feeling!

I wrote this while observing the remains of winter
I like it!
Whatever the Weather
It’s officially the beginning of Spring
and I wonder here
what it will bring.
Will we get a late winter snow
and halt a while what has started to grow?
The bees are buzzing happily
and the March winds blow the blossom free.
The drops and bells,
the fields now fill
and everywhere there’s daffodil.
Will April bring more showers new
as the floods from February still seep through?
Are we on the slope to Summer fun
and our days now filled right up with sun?
I guess whatever it may bring,
it’s what’s needed for this part of Earth to sing
which in turn will only benefit us,
so,
embrace it I will,
without a fuss.

Nothing stays the same
The only thing constant in life is change
Constant Change
Does it matter
what has happened before
or is it just about
when you open that door?
The present time,
where you are now,
filled with all that was anyhow.
Sculpting all you are today.
The person you’ve become on full display.
Be it papier-mâché or encased in gold
the material doesn’t reflect the story told.
Neither even does the pose
it merely is that moment froze.
In a space in time
all things can change
and everything about you can re-arrange,
becoming each part
of the world that you view,
life then begins to reflect you.

Completed
So, I have completed what I set out to do and more it would seem.
I have uploaded all the poems from my 2 books that I have self published and included a short descriptive piece on most of them.
2020/21 gave me a lot of opportunity to do this, from the start of the pandemic and being furloughed and I am truly grateful for this!
The old procrastination set in a few times and I managed to get through it.
That was a massive achievement in itself!
Next, more poems?
Other scribblings?
I should say so, seen as I have passed by the completion of the 2 books and carried on
I have thoroughly enjoyed writing this blog and I am looking forward to carrying on.
